Hello there! My name is Casey; welcome to my blog. A little bit about me: I’m a former professional baker currently living in Kentucky. I began dabbling in a more plant-based diet back in 2016, since then I’ve been learning as much as I can about vegan and plant-based cooking.
I know vegan food can have a reputation for being bland and not terribly exciting, but I’ve always been in awe of the creativity involved in vegan cooking. This is one of the main reasons I started this blog; I want to show everyone that plant-based food can be every bit as delicious and satisfying as non-vegan food. I’m especially fond of baking, but you will find both savory and sweet recipes here.
I’m also extremely passionate about home cooking and want to inspire people to get in the kitchen and experiment. I plan to share recipes that will appeal to everyone, even those that can’t be bothered with cooking and those that are simply skeptical of plant-based food. And, while I do follow a plant-based diet and I hope to encourage others to reduce their consumption of animal products, I absolutely do not judge; all eaters are welcome here.
